Our Story

Women Generation of Purpose was born out of a simple yet profound idea: to uplift women through skills that enable self-reliance and dignity. As we grew, so did our mission. What started as a small initiative to teach vocational skills has evolved into a movement that touches lives in schools, homes, and communities across Uganda. Through our mentorship programs, school outreach efforts, and community support initiatives, we are creating ripples of change that will last for generations.

Why We Do What We Do

Our work is deeply rooted in the needs we see around us every day. We recognize that women, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, face immense challenges in achieving financial independence. By equipping them with practical skills like fashion design, hairdressing, baking, and crafts, we help them not just survive but thrive. Additionally, through our school outreach programs, we support girls with essential hygiene products and life skills education, ensuring they stay in school and pursue their dreams. Our community outreach efforts focus on feeding and educating vulnerable children, ensuring that no child is left behind.
